Richland Electric Cooperative Receives
N. F. Leifer Memorial Journalism Award

Ed Lund accepts the 2007 N. F. Leifer Journalism Award

Richland Electric Cooperative has been honored as the winner of the N. F. Leifer Memorial Journalism Award for 2007 for the second consecutive year. The award signifies that the Richland Electric Cooperative edition has been adjudged consistently the best of the Wisconsin Energy Cooperative News editions published monthly during 2007.

In addition, REC won two other awards for photography and human-interest material for their 2007 local pages in the WEC News Magazine. The photography award is for being judged having consistent and effective use of photographs in the magazine. The Human Interest Award is for being judged as having consistent and effective presentation of human-interest material in the magazine.

The awards were presented by the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association at the Richland Electric Cooperative annual meeting in March.
